On Oct. 27th at the premises of Ministry of Development an international Conference on Sustainable Supply Chains was organized. The event was organized by the Polish Institute for Human Rights and Business, CICERO Center for International Climate Research and FAFO in collaboration with the Polish Ministry for Economic Development and with support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and The Swedish Embassy in Poland .
The following issues were discussed during the conference: how do companies work with sustainability? How are they, if at all, incorporating the UNs Sustainable Development Goals into their own business strategies? What are the pitfalls and the obstacles to sustainability in supply chains? And what is the government and EU doing?
Guests from Sweden, Norway and Nederland presented experience of their counties in building sustainable and responsible supply chains in public procurement.
Magdalena Rzeszotalska - Corporate Communication and CSR Director - was one of the panelist during panel discussion: “What is needed to improve sustainability of the supply chains in Poland?”
